Ingredients
1/4 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 Tbs butter, melted
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
4 cups hash browns, thawed
1/2 cup bacon, chopped
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
our cream, for serving
Directions
  1. Preheat waffle iron. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, butter, salt and pepper. Stir in hash browns, bacon, cheese and onions. Mix well. 
  2. Place about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of potato mixture onto each section of waffle iron. (Amount will vary depending on size of waffle iron.) Cook until golden-brown and crispy, according to manufacturer instructions for regular waffles. Repeat previous steps with remaining batter. 
  3. Note: To keep finished waffles warm, preheat oven to 225° F. Waffles can also be made in advance and reheated in a 350° F oven for 15 minutes.
